SOCAR Midstream Gas Operations (SOCAR MGO) and its partners in the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCPC) joined the global observance of World Down Syndrome Day.
In partnership with Georgian Down Syndrome Association, we organized an engagement event to bring SOCAR MGO employees closer to the cause through direct interaction with individuals with Down Syndrome.
On 7 April, employees gathered at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace, to hear real-life stories and engage in open conversations. The team also spent time painting decorations created by individuals with Down Syndrome.
Leading up to this event we held awareness activities at the SOCAR MGO Tbilisi Office. Awareness corners with personalized coloring papers were arranged, and employees contributed by adding colors and sharing messages of support.
As part of the initiative, SOCAR MGO further supported Georgian Down Syndrome Association by donating a color laser printer, TV set, photo printer, and headsets.
